Bring it on.

Today was just the taste of Spring that I've been needing. The snow is melting and puddles are forming. And I'm ready.

Have I already told you of my love for J Crew? I think if I was rich and could only choose two stores to buy all of my clothes from for the rest of my life, I would choose J Crew and Anthropologie, without a doubt.

But, I'm not rich and I typically buy my clothes from various sale racks. I still do check out the clearance sections online at J Crew, because every once in a while I find a steal.

Exhibit A.

I have been wanting some wellies for a while now. Especially now that I am an avid, world-renowned gardener. I like the really fun, crazily printed ones, but I think I was secretly longing for something a little more classic. Like school-bus yellow with charcoal grey tops. For $14.99. Is it just me, or does it appear that the size of my feet rivals that of Shaquille O'Neal?

Lord have mercy, they even came with this orange carrying case. And I can think of many, many occasions where this carrying case would come in handy...like when I decide to take my wellies on a trip to visit my parents in Ohio, for instance. I can't imagine how I would possibly work that out without this carrying case.

Don't they look ready for action? I got so antsy to try them that I picked Calvin up from pre-school in them one blustery day. My feet were never drier.
