Remember that
odd metal/wood thing I found at the Springfield flea market?
It has found its permanent home, in my "office". I found a few of my favorite things and tacked them up, just to give the right idea, but it is already my favorite revolving-door display piece.

I spend so much time sitting here in front of my computer working and catching up with you'ns and I have to say, it's great to have something so unique to look at, all the while. I asked Cory to hang it off-center, which provides me with an additional piece of prime wall real estate, just to the right. I'm already pondering the possibilities...
In the meantime, it's Friday. Go
here and
here and thank me for it later.
Love it! I can't wait until the "real" office is ready upstairs and for you to show off the McMaster and Storm killer piece! I also much comment how much i love the "farmgirl" speak/slang come out of you when you write. It cracks me up!
ReplyDeletethat was a very good find! do magnets work on the metal? just curious...
ReplyDeleteSuper cute project. One of my friends posted on something today that would look perfect right next to it. Liz - at It's Great to Be Home - made a craft storage unit, and papered the top of it. In her post today she talks about how you could do the same thing with a picture frame for the wall - she might have said it in the comments. Her link is on my sidebar.
ReplyDeleteOkay I'm in love! I want one!!
ReplyDeleteGREAT idea! I love seeing pieces used for something other than what they are intended for (not that I know what that is...it is just cool!). :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute!!!! :o) I love how the pics are in sepia and B&W.

Now that's certainly some memo board! I love the old-time look of it. And looks like you have room for so many display items! I love this. Wish I could come across something this nice. (Have a feeling it would go in my garden with morning glories growing up it though...)
