Oh my goodness gracious a livin. I just picked up my copy last night at the local CVS and hadn't even opened it up yet. Well I can tell you I just did. On page 7 it says Contributing Writers, and the first name up 'Shannan Martin.' Yes there you are. Of course I have read, and loved it. Go Shannan, Go Shannan, Go Shannan.

ReplyDelete1. Congrats on being "in print"! I LOVE how you can take any subject matter and inject your own voice into it! I feel like I could have read that without seeing the author's name at the top and say "This must be Shannan!"

ReplyDeleteI smiled at the mention of hot pink taffeta! I was one of the lucky ones who was able to wear pink taffeta back in 1992 as a bridesmaid for my sister-in-law! I kept it for years thinking I'd somehow reuse it or restyle it...never happened. But it was her day and her vision and it was lovely. It's always embarrassing as my nieces and nephews get older and ask about my big hair "What was up with your hair?" Me: "I know this is hard to believe, but I swear to you, at the time, I thought my hair had never looked better!" It's huge. And scary.
Way to go! :-)
