Some days we run too fast, yawn too much, and eat left-over tomato soup for lunch.
But some days, we get brave for no good reason.

Okay. You don't love Money Shot Monday. I get it. Maybe it's the name? All I can say is that it came to me in the shower, and I've learned to never doubt shower wisdom. So the bad news is, MSM is sticking around, and here's why: I like it. I strangely liked knowing that today was Monday so I needed to track down my goodness and look it square in the mug. I enjoyed exercising my ability to be succinct. (And am ever thankful there are 6 more days in the week...)

Ooh, fun (and much needed). I did 1000 gifts on Mondays until I reached 1000 and then I quit posting gifts regularly (feeling guilty admitting that -sorry Ann Voskamp). Maybe MSM is just what I need to get my gratitude up and running again.

DeleteA Money Shot is the one single shot that captures the essence of your day. Maybe it's a really pretty photo or maybe it's a crappy one but it connects you with something awesome. No matter. It's one moment in time where you stopped to notice and capture.
(Also, have you ever heard someone say, "That's so money?" No? Well, it's old, strange slang meaning that it's awesome. So there's a bit of that mixed in, too.(I really enjoy alliteration.))
And now we're all even more confused.

And can I just say, that even at 38 with a home-ec class under my belt (years ago), I still find that my sewing machine is one of the most intimidating pieces of equipment?! Something about that bobbin winding makes me scratch my head and wonder how something so complicated was ever invented for common use, because I feel the need for an engineering degree just to operate the darn thing. But I did make pillow covers recently, and it felt really good. :)
