It felt indulgent to hope that our kids could be smitten with the neighbor kids like they were before.
Why do I doubt? Why?
When will I stop believe I'm telling God something He doesn't already know when I talk to Him about what we need?
Thy mystery of His love unravels another length and I'm left standing with my mouth hinged open over the way He holds us so well. Every one of us.

ReplyDeleteI have loved the Lord for over 50 years and still I get amazed at his God things. Silly me. Silly you.
ReplyDeleteDear Ruby,
ReplyDeleteI need to squeeze those pig tails.
Okay?

They look like five peas in a pod!!
ReplyDeleteI love the top picture. I don't usually comment-but should. Your posts have shown up in my thoughts lately and have challenged my way of "safe" thinking and living. Thank-you, thank-you for putting your bold thoughts and questions "out there" for the rest of us to read. God is getting my attention, through you.
ReplyDeletelook at those precious faces!
ReplyDeleteHe is so good!
xo
Pure preciousness! I don't want to alarm you, Mama, but your 3 are looking a little growny pants these days. My, my.
ReplyDeleteSweet friends. He really does care, doesn't He? Thank you, Lord.
Has nothing to do with the blogpost...but Calvin is everything I find adorable about Korean men. After living in Asia for 6 years I can tell the difference between all the "Asians" (well, most of them) and I am convinced that Korea is the only place in Asia with "handsome" men...or more accurately, the Asia with the most abundant percentages of handsome males. My husband feels the same. You can imagine what our mall people-watching is like.
ReplyDeleteSo precious. Thankful that He cares and blows our socks off with the big and small things:)
ReplyDeleteWe moved last year and I could not have found a better fit! When I sit and think how did it all fall in place when there was so much stress associated with this move? I realize it was divine intervention... From GOD!!! (As one slaps forehead).
ReplyDeleteI know just what you are saying!
ReplyDeletethat neighborhood is so blessed to have you and your family living there!!! You are gonna love them so well and make them feel like kings and queens <3 God is so good!!
